Charm of the past

Respecting the former role of the villa – the function of the summer cottage – and its original form, the facade is formed by wooden panels. During reconstruction, the carved wooden fragments are designed to be as similar as possible to the sample from the old photographs and retained elements.

The rooms are bright and light, and they are reminiscent of summer holidays, childhood and its carelessness, return to beautiful, romantic past events. Several apartments are decorated with photographs from the archive of the magazine SANTA. Precise quotes and great personalities.

Art

The hotel is particularly distinguished by the art works of the Latvian painter Ieva Iltnere. Her works are used to decorate the restaurant, but the original work, painted specially for the interior of the hotel, decorates the wall in the guest reception area. This friendship and cooperation began several years ago when journalist Santa Anca (Santa Anča) met the painter Ieva Iltnere in an interview.

Unique architecture

BRIDGE HOUSE – unique example of architecture – a banquet hall with special acoustics on the bridge across the ravine and a watercourse. The former function of the pedestrian bridge has been preserved – when walking over the bridge, one can still cross the pond.
